Orono High School Drama’s production of “A David Ives Triptych” was selected as the Class B finalist at the Regional Maine Drama Festival in Skowhegan on March 8, and will move onto the State Festival at Cape Elizabeth High School on March 21-22.

The play is a collection of three vignettes: “Words, Words, Words,” directed by OHS junior Patrick Molloy; “Variations on the Death of Trotsky,” directed by OHS senior Alexander J. Rose; and “Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread,” directed by OHS drama director Chris Luthin.

Sandy Cyrus designed the set and lights.

At the Regional Festival, cast members Patrick Molloy and Siobhan Harrity were named to the All-Festival Cast and the production won a special award for outstanding use of movement on stage.
