AUBURN – Two men and a woman have been arrested in Auburn on charges of cocaine trafficking.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says the three obtained the cocaine in Rhode Island and were returning home when their car was stopped Thursday night along Route 4 near the Auburn-Turner line.

The MDEA says agents seized three-quarters of a pound of cocaine and a pound of marijuana, with a combined street value of $35,000.

The suspects were identified as 37-year-old Cynthia Padilla of Jay, 28-year-old Eric Cheverez of Livermore Falls and 35-year-old Robert Duncan of Chesterville.
