Benefit broomball set

The University of Maine women’s ice hockey team will play a benefit broomball game against 3rd Watch, a group of emergency personnel, tonight at 7:30 at the Alfond Arena. The game will benefit Camden Brown, the son of University of Maine public safety dispatcher Andy Brown and his wife Tonya. Camden was born with major bowel issues and has spent several months in hospitals in Bangor and Boston. The price will be $5 for adults and children under 12 will be admitted free. Tickets are available at the door.

University of Maine athletic director Blake James will be the guest coach for the 3rd Watch team and commemorative T-shirts will be sold for $10 with all proceeds going to the Browns.
