WATERVILLE – Singers from all over the state are invited to audition Saturday, April 5, at Colby College for a chance to sing the national anthem at this year’s Maine Games opening ceremony. The winner also will have the opportunity to sing the national anthem before a Portland Sea Dog game at Hadlock Field in Portland this spring.

Anyone over age 10 who wants to audition must apply online by March 31 at www.mainegames.org.

The Maine Games, an Olympic-style sports festival open to athletes of all ages and abilities, will be held in June in Greater Waterville.
