AUGUSTA – April 13-19 is “Week of the Young Child,” sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

In celebration, the Maine Association for the Education of Young Children will hold a children’s art show in the Welcome Center at the State House. The show will feature artwork from children in early childhood settings across the state, including artwork from Penquis Child Development Center in Old Town and Venture Way in Bangor, as well as pictures from The Neighborhood Child Care Center in Bangor. The artwork will be on display April 14-18.
