WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The organizers of the Little League World Series plan to televise regional tournaments for teams from the mid-Atlantic and New England.

Little League International has formed a partnership with the New England Sports Network and the Madison Square Garden network.

Officials say the regional games will be shown live during the first two weeks of August. The two tournaments are played in Bristol, Conn.

The two networks will have exclusive rights to televise regional tournament games, except for the regional championship games. Those games will be televised on an ESPN network.

The New England regional tournament features the state champions from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
