CARIBOU – It’s looking like Caribou may fall short just shy of the 200-inch mark for snow this season.
All the city needs is another 2.2 inches of snow to reach that lofty mark, but there’s no snow in the immediate forecast. Forecasters from the National Weather Service say it still could happen, though, if there’s a late storm.
Even with no more snow, it has been a winter for the record books. Caribou shattered its previous record of 181 inches, set in 1955.
