CUMBERLAND – Traffic is flowing again in both directions on Interstate 295 after a collision on the northbound side in Cumberland.
WCSH-TV said a southbound vehicle crossed the median and collided late Tuesday morning with one of its trucks, which was headed north.
Reporter Susan Kimball and photojournalist Aaron Twombly were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, 24-year-old Heather Bouchard of Yarmouth, was listed in critical condition at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
All lanes were reopened by 1:35 p.m.
