WINDSOR – Police say speed appears to be a factor in a crash in which two men were killed.

The victims of Tuesday night’s crash are identified as 35-year-old Daniel Gove of Whitefield and 32-year-old Robert Gove of Windsor. The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department says the 1989 Ford Mustang in which they were riding hit a tree on Route 105 and the two men died on impact.

The car was registered to Robert Gove, who is believed to be the owner.
