PORTLAND – The Portland Sea Dogs called up left-handed pitcher Daniel Haigwood from Single-A Lowell on Monday and transferred left-handed pitcher Kyle Fernandes to Single-A Lowell. Haigwood, 24, made five appearances for the Sea Dogs last year, picking up one save and posting a 0.68 earned run average. Fernandes, 22, made one appearance for Portland pitching two innings of no-hit ball Friday against Binghamton.
