PORTLAND – The two candidates who have raised the most money in Maine’s 1st Congressional District are trading shots over contributions from a wealthy hedge fund manager.

Democrat Ethan Strimling says the contributions from Donald Sussman and his colleagues at Paloma Partners should raise questions. Sussman lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands and has a home on Deer Isle.
