WINTERPORT – Students from Wagner Middle School will present the first annual Wagner Environmental Fair from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30.

Sixth, seventh and eight graders will be showcasing their knowledge of the environmental issues and practices learned over the past year.

Students in the sixth grade will take small steps to reduce the carbon footprint and examine carbon dioxide emissions from their family’s household.

Seventh-grade students will discover the many shades of green and educate the school and community about environmental issues.

Eighth-grade students will explore the history of recycling efforts and environmentally friendly practices throughout Maine’s towns and cities.

The fair will have more than 75 booths that include a bottle drive and recycling stations for batteries, cell phones and printer ink cartridges.
