OAKLAND – The Friends of Baxter State Park will hold its annual meeting from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 26, at the Cascade Grange in Oakland.

The meeting is open to the general public and is free of charge. Coffee will be served at 8:30 a.m. and a light lunch will be provided after the presentations.

Attendees also are invited to join FBSP for a guided hike up Mt. Philip after lunch with members of the board. The easy hike is on a loop trail with views of the surrounding Belgrade lakes and Kennebec highlands.
