Police still searching for Winslow woman

WINSLOW – It’s been more than a week since anyone has heard from or seen Debra Seeley, 52, of South Pond Road and local police have issued a nationwide alert in their search for her.

Seeley, who last was heard from about 4 p.m. April 15, and was reported missing the following day, suffers from diabetes.

“We are concerned,” Winslow police Lt. Jeff Fenlason said Thursday. “She didn’t have her insulin with her as far as [we know].”

The fact that Seeley was last known to be driving a car – a maroon Pontiac Sunfire with the license plate 1877LI – is making the search more difficult.

“You can’t really set up a search team because you don’t know what state you’re looking in,” Fenlason said. “Right now we have nothing.”

Seeley is described as a petite woman, 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information or who thinks they may have seen Seeley or her vehicle is asked to call the Winslow Police Department at 872-5215.
