BANGOR – Pianist Phillip Silver will perform at 10 a.m. Sunday during the worship service at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park St.

Silver, an associate professor of music at the University of Maine, is well-known for his extensive research on music and musicians of the Holocaust.

He is working on a recording featuring the music of Leone Sinigaglia, an Italian Jew who died during the Holocaust, to be released later this year.
