OLD TOWN – Dana Leland pitched five innings for the win and added a double, two singles and three RBIs to lead Old Town to an 11-2 Class B baseball victory over John Bapst of Bangor on Saturday.
Jason Smith added two singles and four RBIs for Old Town, while Evan Paradis had two singles, three runs scored and an RBI.
Tyler Cates drew four of the 11 walks issued by John Bapst pitchers and scored three runs.
Charlie Merritt had an RBI single for John Bapst of Bangor, while Andrew Casey singled and scored a run.

At Bucksport, Brian Saucier’s two-run double highlighted a five-run sixth-inning rally that lifted Hermon to its first win of the spring.
Ryan Kimball had two singles and two RBIs for the Hawks, while Derek Helms also singled twice in support of righthander Tim Kenerson.
Cam Wentworth had three singles and an RBI for Bucksport, while Derek Fish doubled, singled and scored a run.

Central sweeps Caribou
At Corinth, Tyler Speed hit a three-run double as part of an eight-run sixth inning that lifted Central past Caribou 10-3 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday.
The Red Devils also won the second game 12-9.
In the first game, Ben Merrill had two singles, a double and three RBIs for Central. Jake Speed posted two singles and an RBI while Jon Daniel doubled.
Pat Thibodeau led Caribou with three singles and a double. Jarryd Rossignol hit a solo home run while Eric Brown and Justin McLauchlan each hit two singles.
In the second game, Scott Kelley had two singles, a double and three RBIs for Central. Nick Harvey doubled and singled with an RBI while Merrill tallied two singles and two RBIs.
Caribou was led by Jon Noyes with three singles and two RBIs. Cameron Anderson had two singles and an RBI while Seth Sager added two singles.

At Bucksport, freshman lefty Debbie Colpitts tossed 6 1/3 innings of no-hit ball before settling for a one-hitter as Hermon triumphed.
Colpitts struck out 11 and walked two with the only hit being a seventh-inning single by opposing pitcher Keely Sullivan.
Sullivan pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and two walks. Just one of the runs off her was earned.
Monica Gallant had a run-scoring single for Hermon. Amanda Page and Erin Arnold also had singles.

At Old Town, John Bapst rallied for six runs in the seventh inning to defeat Old Town and remain unbeaten.
Sheila Toomey hit two doubles and drove in four runs to lead John Bapst of Bangor while Dee Richards tallied two doubles and two singles.
Ashley Goodwin led Old Town with a double and two RBIs while Hannah Morin added a double.

Presque Isle sweeps Foxcroft
At Dover-Foxcroft, Jodi Buckley had a triple and a single with two RBIs as Presque Isle rolled past Foxcroft Academy 18-5 in the second game of a doubleheader.
The Wildcats won the first game 6-3.
In the first game, Jenna Stevenson had a single and two RBIs while Allison Young and Jodi Buckley each added a single and an RBI for Presque Isle.
Bekah Flanders doubled for Foxcroft Academy.
In the second game, Young tallied a triple, a single and an RBI for Presque Isle.
Megan Crocker, Sam Snyder and Flanders each had two singles and an RBI for the Ponies.

At Corinth, Kara Voisine hit a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 6-6 tie and lead Central past Caribou 8-6 in the nightcap of the doubleheader. Central also won the first game 8-2.
In the first game, Alex Rudzinski hit a single and a two-run home run for Central. Kristie Collins added three singles and Voisine had two singles. Katie Day hit a two-run single.
Kristen Espling hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning to pace Caribou and Ashley Doucette had two singles.
In the second game, Hilary Haney hit a grand slam and scored three runs for Central. Voisine recorded 11 strikeouts and Brooke Washburn singled twice.
Espling hit a solo home run for Caribou. Chelsea Bouchard and Doucette each singled twice.
