NASHUA, N.H. – Pat Moran turned in 7 2/3 solid innings to help Saint Joseph’s capture the Great Northeast Athletic Conference title Sunday with a 6-5 college baseball victory over Suffolk.
With the win, the Monks earned a berth in the NCAA Division III regional tourney.
Moran scattered four hits while giving up four runs to earn the win and Andrew Keirstead came on in relief to record the save. Luke Enman hit a solo homer and singled to lead the Monks of Standish. Enman, Moran and Wade Oliver were named to the all-tourney team and Keirstead was named the tourney’s MVP.
Keith Carter hit a two-run homer for Suffolk of Boston and Greg DiMarco hit a solo shot.
