A documentary about author and Camden historian David McCullough will be included in June’s video release of HBO’s recent “John Adams” miniseries, and it will be presented on HBO on May 28. The miniseries was based on McCullough’s Adams biography. The documentary, “David McCullough: Painting With Words,” follows McCullough as he delivers a speech to a gathering of state legislators from across the country; climbs a Philadelphia church steeple tower, just as John Adams did two centuries earlier; returns to the Massachusetts Historical Society to again study a letter Adams wrote to his wife Abigail on July 3, 1776; visits his old Brooklyn neighborhood; and takes his annual walk across the Brooklyn Bridge …
