As if “A Prairie Home Companion” wasn’t enough, if you really want to express your love for public radio you can attend the broadcast of “This American Life LIVE” at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1 (that’s tonight), at the Strand Theatre in Rockland. The show’s host, Ira Glass, brings the acclaimed program to the big screen for one night only, in a live broadcast via satellite from New York. It’ll feature new stories, outtakes and special guests, and it’s presented in HD and Cinema Surround Sound. Tickets are $20 at the Strand box office; for more, call 594-0070.
