ASHLAND – Justin Belanger pitched six innings of no-hit ball, losing his no-hitter when Josh Branscomb grounded a lead off single to left to open the seventh, and he also aided his own cause with a run-scoring triple as Ashland beat Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook 4-0 Tuesday.
Senior righty Belanger struck out 14 and didn’t walk anybody.
Henry Milligan tripled and singled and drove in a run and Jeremy Tarr had an RBI single.

Pat Kinsey doubled and singled with three RBIs for Fort Fairfield. Cody Closson had three singles and an RBI while Beau Everett hit two singles for the Tigers.
Ryan Wellington hit a double for Hodgdon.

Manny Martinez hit two singles, a double and drove in two runs for Central Aroostook. Blake McCarthy doubled and singled with five RBIs while Cameron York had a double and a single with an RBI.
Matt Enman paced LCS/MSSM with a double and a single while Matt Beaulieu added a double.

Sid Look hit a two-run triple for the Royals and Harry Beal singled twice.

At Rockland, Gardiner pitchers combined to allow one run on two hits with 19 strikeouts as Gardiner topped Rockland.
Kyle Stilphen hit two doubles and a home run for Gardiner. Chris Howe tallied two singles and a double while Forrest Chadwick and Mike Abbott each hit a home run and a single. Nick Machino added a home run and Roland Kennerson posted a triple and a single for the Tigers.
Dylan Meklin had a double for Rockland.

At Bar Harbor, Steve Kalenowski’s RBI single in the top of the seventh put the Golden Bucks ahead as they scored seven times in the inning to defeat MDI.
Tyler French singled in the inning’s first run to tie the game; Kyle McGeaghan knocked in a run with a double and he also ingled twice for Bucksport. Derek Fish had two singles, a double and two RBIs.
Devin Young knocked a three-run homer and Calvin Tweedie had two singles and an RBI for the Trojans.

At Washburn, Kristen Goupille had eight hits and three RBIs in two games as Washburn took a doubleheader from Greater Houlton Christian Academy 18-6 and 32-7.
In the first game, Kelsee McLaughlin hit a solo homer and singled for the Beavers. Goupille had four singles and an RBI.
Kiki Smart doubled and singled for the Eagles.
In the second game, Dakota Koch knocked a two-run home and singled twice while Goupille had four more singles and two more RBIs for Washburn.
Rebecca Campbell had three singles and seven RBIs for the winners.
Smart and Morgan Carroll each had two singles for GHCA.

Latisha Neece had two singles and an RBI for Central Aroostook, Gabe Brewer had a two-run single and Robin Graham doubled.

Crystal Cook had two singles for the winners while Southern Aroostook received RBI singles from Bree Bubar and Brittany Charette.
