OAKLAND – Ian Edwards and John Cox each homered as Bangor rallied from a 9-3 sixth-inning deficit to gain its sixth win of the spring.

Kyle Vanidestine added two doubles and Shane Walton had one double for the Rams, who scored seven runs in the top of the sixth to take the lead in support of winning pitcher Kyle Savage.

Savage came on in the fourth and allowed just one run over the final three innings.

Joe Dumont homered for Messalonskee, while Matt Stuart and Nick Curato each doubled.

At Brewer, John Little’s two-out, two-run double to left-center in the ninth inning highlighted a three-run inning that gave Skowhegan the win.

Les Marcue had three singles and two RBIs for the Indians.

For Brewer, Matt Burnham hit a two-run triple.

Kyle Bishop doubled and singled with two RBIs for Waterville. Kris Huggins hit a home run while Cam Sawyer added a double and a single.

At Coffin Field in Brewer, Allie DeFilipp and Jaimee Knowles hit RBI singles in the bottom of the fourth while Amanda Ryan and Mel Judkins combined on a two-hitter as Brewer tripped up Skowhegan.

Ryan went the first three, striking out two and allowing the one run before giving way in the fourth to Judkins, who struck out 10 of the game’s last 12 batters.

Whitney Jones laced an RBI single and Crystal Johnson singled for the Indians. Rebecca McCarthy struck out seven and walked two in the loss.

Emily Weeks had Messalonskee’s lone hit, a swinging bunt single in front of the plate with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Eliza Estabrook had a triple, a single and two RBIs for Bangor, while Nicole Stairs doubled and singled and Amy Hackett and Erin Dean each singled twice.
