FORT FAIRFIELD – Fort Fairfield erased a three-run deficit with seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Wednesday to rally for a 7-3 high school baseball victory over Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.

Brian Noyes tallied two singles and an RBI for Fort Fairfield. Josh Booth had an RBI double while Jason Hoyt and Austin Dufour each hit an RBI single for the Tigers.

Cameron York had two singles and an RBI for Central Aroostook.

At Houlton, Jarryd Rossignol hit two doubles and had two RBIs as Caribou rallied from a 4-0 deficit for the win.

Winning pitcher Philip St. Peter tripled and singled for the Vikings, while Matt Kinney doubled, singled and scored two runs and Jon Noyes singled twice and drove home two runs.

Porter Gervais singled twice with two RBIs for Houlton, while Hunter Caron tripled, singled and drove in a run. Ryan Hill doubled and singled.

At Stacyville, Billy Duffy hit two doubles and drove in two runs to lead the Cougars to victory over the Hawks.

Andrew Hawkins doubled and singled with an RBI and Andy Kay hit two singles, while five pitchers combined on the two-hitter.

Andrew Lane doubled for Hodgdon.

At St. Agatha, freshman righthander Deejay Gendreau struck out 11 in six innings to lead Madawaska past Wisdom.

Ethan Welch paced the Owls with two triples and a double, while Jeff Cyr tripled twice and Chad Bechard hit a double with two RBIs. Nathan Beaulieu added a run-scoring double.

Kody Chamberland and Rocky Chamberland singled for the Pioneers.

Kyle Bishop hit a double and a single with two RBIs for Waterville. Kris Huggins hit a home run while Cam Sawyer added a double and a single for the Panthers.

At Calais, Jordan Leeman hit a solo homer and Josh Gillespie a two-run shot to lead Calais past Narraguagus of Harrington.

Matt O’Brien knocked a solo homer and an RBI single while Zach Newman singled, doubled and tripled with an RBI for the Blue Devils. Dylan Ramsdell added three singles and Steve Rogers a double and two singles.

Kam Jordan homered for Narraguagus.

At Houlton, Taylor Bailey and Lainey Herring belted two-run homers in a five-run fifth inning as Houlton broke a 6-6 tie en route to its fifth straight win.

Herring, who picked up the win in relief, also had a single and drove in four runs. Vanessa Sanderson had two singles and an RBI for the winners.

Ashley Doucette and Ali Richards had solo homers for Caribou and Kristen Espling had three singles.

Elizabeth Morneault doubled and singled and knocked in a run for Fort Kent.

At Stacyville, Taylor McGary hit a two-run home run to go with a double and two singles as Hodgdon edged Katahdin.

Melissa Duffy and Kayla Stevens hit three singles apiece and Jasmine Pelletier had two for Katahdin.

At Fort Fairfield, Central Aroostook of Mars Hill pounded out 32 hits as the Panthers outslugged Fort Fairfield.

Latisha Neece tallied two home runs and two singles to lead Central Aroostook. Sarah Long and Alex Dame each hit two doubles and three singles.

Maryl Shaw and Shannon Towle each posted two singles and a double for Fort Fairfield.

At Oakland, Sam Bedore pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk to lead the Rams to their sixth win.

Emily Weeks had Messalonskee’s lone hit, a swinging bunt single in front of the plate with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Eliza Estabrook had a triple, a single and two RBIs for Bangor, while Nicole Stairs doubled and singled and Amy Hackett and Erin Dean each singled twice.
