ROCKPORT – A Women’s Health Screening Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, on the Penobscot Bay Medical Center campus. The screenings will take place at the Women’s Health Building at 3 Glen Cove Drive in Rockport and at the PBMC Radiology Department located in the hospital.
The screening will include a clinical breast exam and Pap test performed by Pen Bay medical staff followed by a mammogram at the hospital’s Radiology Department. All tests are free and will be completed on the day of the appointment.
Preregistration is required and must be completed by May 23. Although there are limited spots on May 30, women can still call to enroll in the screening program and then make an appointment for a later date. Call 800-350-5180 and press 1 to see if you qualify and to schedule an appointment. Screening services are funded by the Maine Breast and Cervical Health Program of the Department of Health and Human Services.
