State Sen. Richard Rosen presented Peters with a Legislative Sentiment honoring him for his achievement and contributions.

Private sector donations to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter have increased with the behind-the-scenes support and leadership of Ken Peters and Trans-Tech.
In addition to financial support, Trans-Tech employees delivered new furniture to update the shelter’s TV room.
Trans-Tech employee Bob Landry invests many hours helping shelter staff order supplies and ensuring accurate delivery.
Trans-Tech also has helped in Brewer’s WinterFest.
Peters and his staff have actively sponsored a children’s carnival, numerous musical acts and other activities during the two-day community event.
Trans-Tech Industries is a perfect example of small-business stewardship and community service, legislators said.
