Caribou sweeps Fort Kent
At Caribou, the host Vikings swept a doubleheader from Fort Kent for their first wins of the spring, winning the first game 22-2 and the second 26-1.
In the opener, Ashley Doucette singled three times and tripled while Ali Blanchard had a double and single for Caribou.
Krystal Cyr, Taylor Boucher and Elizabeth Morneault all singled for Fort Kent.
In the second game, Kristin Espling pitched a five-inning no-hitter and contributed two doubles and two singles for the Vikes.
Richards collected two doubles, a triple and a single and Katie Ouellette three singles for Caribou. Serena Grier chipped in with a double and two singles and Kylie Landeen a double.

At Caribou, Jarryd Rossignol pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead Caribou by Fort Kent 13-1 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Caribou completed the sweep with a 6-2 win in the second game.
In the first game, Mike Doucette hit two doubles and drove in two runs for Caribou. Brandon Caverhill had two singles and an RBI while Justin McLaughlin doubled and singled.
Thomas Levesque singled for Fort Kent.
