With the help of a police K-9, a 6-year-old boy was found shortly after he was reported missing in Bangor on Tuesday evening.
A resident of 14 South Park St. realized her grandson had wandered out of her backyard sometime before 5 p.m. She called Bangor police at 5:04 p.m. and Officers Rob Angelo, Mike Brennan and Steve Jordan were called to the scene, according to a police report.
The officers arrived and received a brief description of the boy and the direction he likely took, and they began their search. Just minutes later, Angelo’s dog, Karan, found the boy unharmed in some bushes, the report said. (Anne Ravana, BDN)
