BANGOR – Each May, the Warren Center for Communication & Learning celebrates Better Hearing and Speech Month. This event is designed to raise awareness and promote treatment of communication disorders.
Communication disorders include hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), difficulty with swallowing or balance, stuttering, delayed language, or voice problems.
At 11:45 am Wednesday, May 21, at the Bangor Public Library there will be a talk about language development in children from birth to age 5 and how it affects future literacy skills.
Bring a lunch and join the discussion.
