After reading the BDN story on beetle grubs ruining lawns in Bangor, I thought of a positive solution. Simply till it up and plant a garden. This would provide healthy food, a hedge against rising prices, and a chance to reconnect to the earth. This connection I believe is more important than many realize to our happiness and well-being.
