I support the campaign of Gary Friedmann for state representative to the Legislature. Gary, a geologist by training with a long career in community development and nonprofit fundraising, will be an effective advocate for continued state investment in the sciences. I have personally advocated for the advancement of science in the state by forming partnerships with educational, research and medical institutions in Maine.

From conversations with Gary, I find he “gets it.” He understands the importance of high-tech, low-impact, science-based industry to the future of this community and to the state. He has my vote.
