The Maine Winter Sports Center announced Wednesday that Colby College alumnus Austin Ross is joining its coaching staff.

The Steamboat Springs, Colo., native skied for the White Mules for four years, and competed at four Junior National Championships for the Rocky Mountain Division.

Ross will focus his efforts on community programs in the St. John Valley along with youth and junior development throughout Aroostook County.
