ORONO – University of Maine senior field hockey player Erin Reusch and senior women’s ice hockey player Pam Patterson were named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team.

Reusch, of Salem, N.H., started all 16 games and was fourth on the team in points. The captain was named to the All-America East second team and carried a 3.98 GPA while majoring in kinesiology and physical education.

Patterson of Miramichi, New Brunswick, was an assistant captain for the women’s ice hockey team and finished tied for fourth on the team in points. She is majoring in business, is a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner and was named to the 2006-07 Hockey East All-Academic team.
