BLUE HILL – Tickets are now on sale for “Sounds Around Blue Hill,” the 2008 Blue Hill Pops concert sponsored by the Bagaduce Music Lending Library. The 18th annual summer pops concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at George Stevens Academy.

The concert will feature many local performers, including Flash in the Pan steel drums, the Pops All-Star House Band with Paul Sullivan, Hugh Bowden, Lynette Woods and brothers Phelan and Ross Gallagher, singer Sarah Stevens, the New Trad Trio, David Reilly’s young string players, vocalists Abby and Sebastian Greene and the Bagaduce Pops Singers led by Bronwyn Kortge.

Table seats, reserved chairs and bleacher seats are available. Ticket prices start at $10 and are available at the library or by phone at 374-5454.
