PORTLAND – The start of the new work week is bringing record-high gasoline and diesel prices – again.
According to AAA, a gallon of regular on Tuesday was averaging $3.95 in Maine, up 37 cents from a month ago and 84 cents from a year ago. Diesel was selling for $4.85 a gallon on average.
Nationally, AAA says regular gas was selling on average for $3.94 a gallon, which was also a record.
