PORTLAND – Maine drivers rank near the middle of the pack when it comes to understanding the rules of the road.
That’s according to an unscientific online survey by GMAC Insurance.
In the survey, Maine motorists ranked 31st among the 50 states and the District of Columbia when it came to knowing the dos and don’ts of driving.
Kansas was No. 1 on the list, followed by Wyoming and Nebraska. New Jersey drivers were rated as the nation’s worst, behind Washington, D.C., and New York.
