EASTON – Easton High School junior Katrina Martin edged out thousands of juniors across the state to win PrepMe Inc.’s Top Schools Student Scholarship.

Earlier this year, PrepMe Inc. launched a statewide effort to prepare all Maine public high school juniors for the required May 3, 2008 SAT.

In conjunction with the program, the company started a new feature called the Maine Leaderboard, which ranked the most actively engaged public high schools across the state. As students used the program, they accumulated points for their school. In turn, as students scored more points, they increased their individual and school’s chances of winning $500 scholarship prizes. Martin was the winner.
