BANGOR – Erin Gatto’s goal in the 19th minute lifted the New England Mutiny to a 1-0 victory over the Maine Tide in Women’s Premier League soccer action Saturday at Boucher Field.
Mary-Frances Monroe made a shot from 25-yards out which was initially blocked by Tide keeper Vanessa Peters. Gatto then swooped in and headed in the rebound for the goal.
New England keeper Lauren Luckey earned the shutout for the 3-0 Mutiny.
