RILEY MASTERS
The Bangor High senior was named outstanding performer of the Penobscot Valley Conference large-school track and field championships. He won the 800 (2:02.65), 1,600 (4:28.39), and 3,200 (10:17.24) and anchored the Rams’ first-place 4×800 relay (8:33.71).
Small School (Classes C-D)
CHRIS FOGLER
The John Bapst of Bangor junior was named outstanding performer of the Penobscot Valley Conference small-school track and field championships. Fogler won the 300 hurdles (40.18 seconds), 110 hurdles (15.37), 200 (22.86) and high jump (6 feet).
GIRLS
Big School (Classes A-B)
DANIELLE HUTCHINS
The Mount Desert Island junior sprinter won three individual events and anchored a winning relay at the Penobscot Valley Conference Large School track and field championships in Presque Isle Saturday. Hutchins won the 100-meter dash (12.88 seconds), the 200 (27.60) and long jump (15-5) and ran an 11.84-second split in anchoring MDI’s winning 4×100-meter relay team. She was named Outstanding Performer.
Small School (Classes C-D)
JAMIE PELLETIER
Fort Kent junior sprinter Jamie Pelletier won three events in earning Outstanding Performer honors at the PVC Small School Track and Field championships Friday at Dover-Foxcroft. Pelletier won the 100 (13.13), 400 (1:02.42) and 200 (26.73).
