SAINT AGATHA – Rachel Donahue hit a triple and two singles to drive in five runs as Central Aroostook of Mars Hill closed out its regular season with a 30-4 softball win over the Wisdom Pioneers Wednesday.

Sarah Long added a triple, two singles and two RBIs, while Ashley Estabrook had a home run and two RBIs.

Chelsea Paradis had a double and two RBIs for Wisdom.

At Harrington, Jessica Faulkingham walked in the sixth inning, stole second and third and then beat the throw to the plate from first on Jessica Tenan’s grounder back to the mound to break a 5-5 tie.

Kim Greene picked up the win in relief and had a run-scoring single.

Cassie Barnes had three singles and an RBI for Shead of Eastport and Cassandra Stanhope hurled a complete-game four-hitter.

At Deer Isle, Lexi Wessel and Stevie Theoharidis each had a double and a single with three RBIs to propel George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill by Deer Isle-Stonington.

Lydia Clapp hit a two-run home run in the second inning while Abby Astbury hit three singles with two RBIs for the Eagles.

Heidi Brewer posted two singles and an RBI for Deer Isle-Stonington. Audra Eaton had a single with two RBIs while Erica Hutchins hit an RBI single for the Mariners.

At Ellsworth, Anna Seavey and Sabrina Jellison drove in three runs apiece and Ashley Smith tossed a four-hitter as Ellsworth triumphed.

Seavey tripled and doubled and Jellison tripled and singled while Lily Cooper contributed two singles and scored three times. Smith, Maggie Harding and Sarah Homich had three singles apiece. Smith struck out seven and walked three in her route-going performance.

Molly Vaux hit a three-run triple for Mount Desert Island.

At Harrington, Justin Lewey hit three singles and a double with three RBIs to spark Shead of Eastport by Narraguagus.

Tom Pottle tallied three singles and two RBIs for the Tigers.

Cam Jordan hit two doubles and drove in four runs while Corey Smith had two singles for Narraguagus.

At East Sullivan, Joe Simmons’ two-out single in the bottom of the sixth inning scored Jacob Knowles with the winning run for the Sumner Tigers.

Mike Crowley had three singles, Mickey Manning added two singles and an RBI, and Matt Boyle had a two-run double for the Tigers. Boyle allowed six hits for the complete-game victory.

John Hall led Washington Academy of East Machias with a double, a single, and two RBIs. Mike Lenfestey had a double, a single, and an RBI for the Raiders.

Peter Dickinson hit a solo homer and Otto Black doubled and singled and drove in a run for the winners.

Collin Ciomei’s two singles and Eben Powers’ RBI single led Deer Isle-Stonington.
