WINSLOW – Katie Caron’s squeeze bunt in the bottom of the seventh inning capped a two-run rally as No. 3 Winslow dodged No. 14 Belfast’s upset bid and the Black Raiders prevailed 6-5 in an Eastern Maine Class B softball prelim.
Beth Fisher contributed an RBI groundout for the Black Raiders.
Caroline Carr hit an RBI single for Belfast.

At Greenville, Jeff Mulhall pitched a six-inning, one-hitter with 10 strikeouts to power No. 5 Forest Hills of Jackman past No. 4 Greenville.
Dan Forge tallied a triple, a double and a single with three RBIs for Forest Hills. Josh Mercure hit three singles with two RBIs while Cory Plante had a double, a single and two RBIs.
Joe Gilbert posted a two-run triple for Greenville’s only hit.
