Pups’ Bebutante Ball set for Bangor kennel

BANGOR – The Debutante Ball for Roadster and Tripp’s puppies will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Carden’s Kennels, 880 Ohio St.

Kennel owners are planning a Tux (well-dressed dogs) and Tailess (Australian shepherd dogs don’t have tails) party.

Organizers will use the event to raise money to help Dreams for Maine Kids. The evening will be filled with puppies, good wine, great food, conversation and fantastic music to benefit the wishes of a child from Maine with a life-threatening illness. The cost to attend the event is $15, $25 couple.

Tripp is a handsome black Australian shepherd dog owned by Kathy Hubbard of Copper Hill Farm in Massachusetts. He is an AKC, ASCA, UKC and CKC champion show dog.

Roadster, who lives at Carden’s and is owned by Clara Gardner, is a red CKC champion. The dog is only a few points away from an AKC title.
