BUCKSPORT – Seaboard Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Bucksport, has opened a new branch in Hermon.

The branch, located in the Danforth Market Shopping Plaza across from Hermon High School at 2410 Route 2, employs a staff of five people and offers full financial services to members. Membership at Seaboard Federal Credit Union is open to anyone that lives, works, worships or attends school in Penobscot, Hancock, Waldo or Washington counties.

“Since our field of membership expanded last year to include all of Penobscot County, the branch in Hermon will be centrally located for our growing membership,” said Kyle W. Casburn, president and CEO.

A grand opening is set from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 21, with a live radio remote on 92.9 WEZQ. Lisa Fogg, a longtime Hermon resident, will manage the branch.
