WATERVILLE – The 38th annual Mid-State Gem and Mineral Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at the Mount Merici School, 152 Western Ave.

The free show, sponsored by Water-Oak Gem and Mineral Society, will feature gems and minerals, jewelry, mineral specimens, fossils, fluorescent minerals, books, demonstrations, educational displays, refreshments and more.
