PORTLAND – Eight members of an Army Reserve unit are back in Maine after serving for the last year in a combat support hospital in Iraq.
The soldiers received a big welcome when they arrived Thursday at Portland International Jetport.
Arriving to cheers and tears, Sgt. Monica Sobley wore a big smile as she stepped from an airport escalator into the arms of her family. Sobley, of South Portland, told WCSH it was good to be home and out of Iraq.
