Adam Kaspala added two singles and three runs for the Acadians, while Josh Astbury singled twice with two RBIs and Nate Hines also singled twice in support of winning pitcher Caleb Hale.

Presque Isle’s Matt Campbell hit a liner to shortstop Casey Hull with no outs and thebases loaded in the fifth inning and Hull touched second base and fired to first in time to turn a 6-3 triple play.
Jon Gagnon hit a double and two singles for Motor City and Jared Theriault added two singles and three RBIs.

At Blue Hill on Saturday, Josh Astbury allowed one run on three hits and one walk while striking out six to lead Trenton to an 11-1 victory over Orono in Saturday’s first game. Trenton also won the second game 16-11.
In the first game, Calvin Tweedie hit a single, triple and home run to drive in three runs for the Acadians. Lucas Marks added two doubles and three RBIs.
Zach Kochis, Dan LeBreton and Cody Cross singled for the Twins.
In the second game, Marks hit two singles and a solo home run for Trenton. Nate Hines had a single, home run and three RBIs. Nick Saunders singled twice and drove in two runs and Tweedie doubled and singled.
LeBreton had two doubles, a single and two RBIs to lead Orono. Kash Keezer singled twice and knocked in two runs and Dana Leland hit two singles.

Hampden sweeps Motor City
At Hampden, Brennan Perry struck out 15 batters in six innings as Hampden beat Motor City of Bangor 5-2 in Saturday’s first game. The Riverdogs also won the second game 11-5.
In the first game, Caleb Kirk hit a three-run triple in the first inning for Hampden. Josh Tardiff doubled.
Chris Smith hit a two-run single in the second inning to lead Motor City.
In the second game, Shawn Smith had a double, single and an RBI for Hampden. Patrick Stephens and Cody Miller each singled twice and Kirk added a two-run single.
Motor City’s Casey Hull hit an RBI double and Ryan Carr doubled. Chris Smith, Andrew Casey and Aaron Healey hit RBI singles.

Bangor, Penquis split
At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor on Saturday, the Penquis Navigators scored four runs in the seventh inning and three in the eighth to rally for a 12-9 victory in the second game of a doubleheader.
Bangor won the opener 4-3.
In the first game, Chad Kelley and Shane Walton each had an RBI single to highlight a three-run Bangor rally in the third inning.
Trailing 4-1, Penquis rallied with two runs in the top of the seventh, as A.J. McGowen had an RBI single and Josiah Richard had an RBI double.
Kyle Savage earned the pitching win, with Walton earning the save.
In the second game, Dan Beatham had three singles and Danny Kane and McGowen had two singles each to pace the Navigators.
Cody McInnis and Jordan Clarke each doubled twice and singled for Bangor, with Clarke adding three RBIs, while Gordie Webb singled twice with two RBIs.

At Calais, Presque Isle scored 12 runs in the second inning to cruise to a 17-6 win over Calais in Saturday’s nightcap. Calais won the first game 7-6.
In the first game, Josh Gillespie hit a double and a fifth-inning grand slam to pace Calais. Jeff Ramsdell hit an RBI single and a triple and Andy Brown added an RBI double.
Joe Soucy and Ted Walker hit solo home runs for Presque Isle. Pat Thibodeau had three singles and an RBI and Brennan Shaw singled twice.
In the second game, Thibodeau hit three doubles and knocked in three runs to lead the Patriots. Matt Enman hit a two-run homer in the first inning. Brennan Shaw doubled and singled with three RBIs and Zac Campbell had two singles and two RBIs.
