NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Boston College’s Brooke Knowlton, chosen to the Atlantic Coast Conference all-freshman team last fall, scored two goals to lead Women’s Premier League leader Soccer Plus to a 3-0 win over the Maine Tide Sunday.

Knowlton converted an Amanda DaCosta cross in the first half and capped the scoring in the 74th minute with an unassisted goal, three minutes after Amanda Graczyk had converted a penalty kick.

Jill Mastroianni made five saves on seven shots for 8-0 Soccer Plus. Vanessa Peters made 10 stops on 17 shots for the 2-4 Tide.
