Praise for Sunrise Trail

Washington County has always been wealthy with its gorgeous views and incredible people. When you measure our determination to stay here to raise families and build careers, we are wealthy beyond dollars and cents. When it comes to the success of the Sunrise Trail system, it would be fabulous if those who continue to gripe about its inevitable arrival would switch their energies to sharing in this amazing community project, because then we would all be wealthier still.

We can all benefit from the trail system. Maybe we will all get a little healthier, a little happier and maybe Washington County will benefit from money coming into the area.

We all have something to share. We should use our energies to make this a success and a place to teach our children about habitat, healthy living, and that 20 long years of determination can create a wonderful way of putting Washington County on the map for something positive.
