LINCOLN – Nick Emery hit two-run homers in the third and fifth innings to lift Penquis past Lincoln 6-2 in an American Legion baseball game Tuesday night.

Scott Kelly hit two singles for the Navigators and Danny Kane doubled.

Tyson Tash and Cory Barnett hit RBI singles to lead the Lumber.

At Old Town, Dana Leland hit a two-run home run a double to help lead Orono past Steamboat Petroleum of Waldo.

Kash Keezer had two doubles and a single for Orono and Dan Lebreton singled twice. Max Winter had seven strikeouts.

Jake Arthers led Steamboat Petroleum with three singles. Josh Nickerson and Casey Ashey each singled twice.

Motor City 16, Calais 7

At Calais, Casey Hull hit two three-run home runs to lift Motor City of Bangor over Calais.

Jon Gagnon hit a two-run homer and a two-run single for Motor City. Nick Smith added a solo home run and a single and Jared Theriault doubled twice with two RBIs.

Tom Pottle hit two singles and drove in a run to pace Calais. Adam Geel had a two-run single in the seventh inning and Mike Perkins added an RBI single in the seventh.

At Bordick Park in Hampden, lefthander Jim Nicknair allowed only three hits and three walks in six innings and struck out 10 to lead Brewer by Hampden.

Eric White paced Brewer’s 11-attack with two RBI doubles and a single. Prentiss Swett chipped in with an RBI double and two singles and Mike Kotredes doubled and singled. Chase Daniels added an RBI triple.

Josh Tardiff hit an RBI double for Hampden.
