BREWER – Robert A. Moore, president and chief executive officer of Dead River Co., will speak at noon Tuesday, July 8, with the members and guests of Tuesday Forum, a women’s networking group in the Bangor area, about high oil prices and their effect on Maine businesses.

Dead River, a privately owned company founded in 1907, has more than 1,200 employees and annual revenues of $500 million. It is the largest residential provider of heating fuels in northern New England and has a commercial real estate portfolio in excess of $300 million.

Moore has been with the company since April 1995. Before that, he spent 20 years in the private practice of law as a partner at Verrill & Dana and Pierce Atwood. He served as counsel to Gov. John R. McKernan Jr. in 1986-1987.
