CALAIS – The St. Croix River Valley Arts Council’s film society is screening “Deep Water” at 7 p.m. Friday, July 11, at the Holmestead, 527 Main St. This 2006 documentary film is about Donald Crowhurst, who wanted to win the 1969 race, the first nonstop solo circumnavigation of the globe. All are welcome. There is no admission charge, although donations are suggested.
