BREWER – Billy Bissell cranked two, three-run home runs to power the Brewer Falcons to a 13-2 American Legion baseball victory over the Trenton Acadians Tuesday night.
Bissell sparked Brewer’s five-run first inning with his first homer and its four-run fourth inning with his second homer.
Ricky Adams chipped in with a solo home run in the first inning to back another strong pitching performance from Brewer lefthander Jimmy Nicknair who allowed four hits and two runs in six innings while striking out six and walking two.
Mike Kotredes chipped in with an RBI single and double for the Falcons, Eric White singled twice and Caleb Smith smacked an RBI triple.
Collin Ciomei doubled and singled for Trenton and Calvin Tweedie and Nate Hines each added RBI singles.

At Searsport, Josh Nickerson hit an RBI single in the first inning and a two-run homer in the sixth to lead Steamboat Petroleum of Waldo past Motor City of Bangor.
Miles Davee had two singles and an RBI for Steamboat Petroleum and Tyler Miles added an RBI single.
Casey Hull led Motor City with a solo home run in the third inning. Charles Merritt singles and scored a run.

At Winkin Complex, Bangor, Shawn Smith tripled, doubled and singled with three RBIs to lift Hampden over Calais.
Zach Leal tripled and doubled to drive in a run for the Riverdogs. Cody Miller added a double, single and an RBI and Derek Amoroso had two singles and drove in a run. Patrick Stephens doubled and singled.
Jeff Ramsdell hit a single and a fifth-inning two-run double for Calais. Dylan Ramsdell tripled and singled and Tom Pottle added a two-run single in the sixth inning.

At Presque Isle, Tyler Tash pitched a two-hitter while striking out 10 batters and walking five to lead Lincoln Lumber past the Patriots.
Lance Bernier had a double and a single for Lincoln, which scored twice in the first on his leadoff double, a one-out error, and back-to-back RBI singles by Tash and Cory Burnett.
Matt Chasse paced the Patriots’ offense with a double. Pat Thibodeau had nine strikeouts in a complete-game effort.
